Klaravik has appointed Carsten Rysgaard as the new Country Manager for Denmark, marking a significant step in their strategic efforts to enhance collaboration and drive growth across the Nordic brands within the TBAuctions group. This pivotal recruitment emphasizes Klaravik's commitment to fostering regional synergy and development.

Carsten Rysgaard joins Klaravik Denmark and Auktionshuset DAB, which is also part of TBAuctions, with extensive experience from leading roles in companies with a strong digital focus and with a clear goal of developing the business in Denmark and helping to strengthen the Nordic cooperation further. A collaboration that makes Klaravik the Nordic region's largest auction site for vehicles, tools, and machinery.

- “It is an exciting time to join TBAuctions. Klaravik Denmark and Auktionshuset DAB have already built strong national positions, and I look forward to helping strengthen this by leveraging technology, industry expertise, and innovative approaches,” says Carsten Rysgaard.

Increased cooperation in the Nordics

Klaravik Denmark started as a franchise in 2016 and became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Klaravik Group in the summer of 2022. In October 2022, Klaravik was acquired by TBAuctions

Currently, Carita Nero will take over as the new Nordic Regional General Manager, where the same role already existed for TBAuctions' other European areas, Benelux and continental Europe. It is part of a larger strategic initiative to increase cooperation between the countries in each region.

This means that Carsten Rysgaard, in his role as Country Manager, will be responsible for Klaravik Denmark and Auktionshuset DAB, while he will work closely with Carita Nero, who, in addition to her new role as responsible for the Nordic region, continues as CEO of Klaravik Sweden.

- “Together, we have the potential to improve and expand the auction landscape in Denmark and offer value to our customers, which makes us an obvious choice. At the same time, we are driving the circular business forward,” says Carsten Rysgaard.

- “This is essential in building an even stronger partnership between Klaravik and Auktionshuset DAB. Carita Nero says we want to utilize our shared knowledge and experience to reach the next level together - and with Carsten as Country Manager, we take another step in the right direction on that journey.

Leaving after successful years

At the end of the year, Esben Hyllested will leave his role as CEO of Klaravik Denmark after successful years since the start in 2016.

- "After a dynamic and educational journey since 2016, I look forward to following Klaravik's continued growth and success from the sidelines with great confidence and anticipation. I am convinced that the future is bright and full of opportunities,” says Esben Hyllested.
